Abyss

The work explores the idea of an indeterminate interior space through an almost monochromatic composition constructed from superimpositions of blue, turquoise, and violet. The forms organise themselves like a landscape viewed through water or mist, without settling into a precise geography. Dark areas in the middle and lower registers introduce the sensation of dense matter, while the luminous opening above suggests a possible exit, a breath, or a distant horizon.
