Bouquet

The work renders the relationship between exuberance and the ephemerality of presence through an expansive floral composition in which the entire vegetal mass opens irregularly from a sober vessel almost absorbed into the penumbra of the ground. The dialogue among restrained tonalities of grey, muted pink, violet, and black, accents of white and red, and the rhythm of arcing stems and gestural splashes lends the image tension, vibration, and melancholic expressivity.
