Congruence

The work explores the relationship between order and contrast through an abstract composition constructed almost entirely from the radical dialogue between black and white. The gestural rhythm of the broad surfaces is counterpointed by the discreet presence of a chromatic element, which introduces a subtle tension among structure, play, and meaning.
