Graft

The work explores transformation through a hybrid figure situated at the threshold of the human body, vegetal organism, and emergent form. The frontal silhouette is constructed from layers of white, grey, and ochre, while its upper section unfolds into broad extensions resembling branches, wings, or newly formed tissue. These extensions destabilise the anatomy and suggest a process of adaptation in which the original identity is modified through the integration of a foreign element. The petrolblue ground heightens the contrast between body and surrounding environment.
