Hummingbird

The work evokes the fragility and tension of a suspended instant through a radically simplified composition. The bird, caught in flight and fixed within a delicate gesture of approach, creates a point of utmost concentration around which the space remains open and almost empty. The uniform, luminous yellow ground heightens the sense of vastness and isolation, while the contrast between the dynamism of flight and the composition's stillness lends the work a fine, nearly silent tension.
