Implosion

The work explores the accumulation and compression of energy through a gestural composition organised around a dense bluewhite nucleus. Yellow interventions traverse the surface in rapid, branching, apparently uncontrolled trajectories, like discharges that, rather than dispersing outward, appear drawn towards the centre of the image. The bluegrey ground lends the composition a cool, almost electrical tension. The contrast between the compact matter of the nucleus and the explosive lines surrounding it suggests a force in collapse, a moment in which energy, form, and space contract simultaneously.Technique: acrylic on stretched canvasSize: 40 x 50 cmYear: 2026
