Mafalda

The work explores corporeality and vulnerability through an expansive composition in which the human figure is reduced to a fluid, almost liquid silhouette. The body, treated in intense turquoise tonalities, unfolds in a posture of repose and exposure, while the extended arm introduces a gesture of openness suspended between surrender and assertion. The ground, constructed from pale greygreen and muted pink tonalities, retains traces of runs and material deposits, accentuating the space's fragile and unstable character. The contrast between the silhouette's firm contour and the dissolved atmosphere surrounding it lends the image tension and sensitivity.
