The work explores the interplay among volume, metamorphosis, and the symbolic suggestion of flight through a composition in which forms are organised within a delicate equilibrium poised between still life and allegory. The dialogue among the restrained ground in muted green tonalities, the dominant pink form in the middle plane, the broad curved silhouette in the foreground, and the discreet floral interventions in the lateral register lends the image mystery, tenderness, and poetic expressivity.
