Meditation

The work explores the relationship among inwardness, gesture, and verticality through an abstract composition in which linear trajectories of red are inscribed with tension across an expansive chromatic field built from green, brown, and ochre tonalities. The contrast between the spontaneity of the gestural intervention and the stability of the ground lends the image rhythm, gravity, and concentrated expressivity.
