The work explores corporeality through an essentialised composition in which the female figure is reduced to a frontal, almost immaterial presence modelled from chromatic transparencies and barely asserted contours. The dialogue between the warm, muted tonalities of the brownochre ground and the discreet accents of red marking the body's sensitive areas lends the image fragility, restraint, and a quiet affective intensity.
