Pietà

The work explores the relationship among pain, vulnerability, protection, and affective fusion through a vertical composition in which human presence is reduced to broad, synthesised forms. The dialogue among blue, pink, violet, and black tonalities, together with the absence of a face and the discreet rhythm of vegetal elements, lends the image tenderness, gravity, and restrained expressivity.
