Relationship

The work explores the bond between proximity and constraint through an austere composition constructed by superimposing pictorial matter with actual textile interventions. Pink cords traverse the surface in different directions, intersecting, drawing near, and moving apart, transforming the canvas into a network of tensions. The ground, articulated in grey, white, and black, suggests an unstable space marked by accumulations and ruptures, in which the trajectories become simultaneously connections, boundaries, and obstacles. The visual knot formed at the centre concentrates the conflict between order and disorder, support and captivity.
