She

The work explores female presence through a silhouette reduced to broad, essentialised forms. The body, constructed in warm ochre and orange tonalities, stands out forcefully against the intense blue ground, generating a direct contrast between warmth and coolness, exposure and isolation. The figure's curved posture suggests withdrawal, protection, and inward concentration at once, while the absence of features transfers identity from the face to the body's gesture. Two red accents, positioned at the base of the neck and outside the silhouette, introduce a discreet tension between centre and detachment, between what belongs to the body and what remains beyond it.
