St Valentine

The work sets out to explore the relationship among fragility, desire, and the symbolic sign of love through a radically simplified composition in which the red apple becomes the image's affective and visual centre. The dialogue between the diaphanous ground, built from delicate chromatic traces, and the intense, almost tangible presence of the fruit gives the image tension, clarity, and direct expressivity.
