Study for Green

The work explores the relationship between tension and the reduction of form to a simple sign through a composition constructed from broad surfaces, firm chromatic contrasts, and minimal gestural interventions. The dialogue among the pale green ground, fields of intense magenta, and the almost calligraphic rhythm of the central sign lends the image clarity, rigour, and restrained expressivity poised between inner landscape and abstract construction.
