Symmetry

The work explores the relationship between absence and the discreet tension of difference through an almost monochromatic composition constructed from dark layers of black and grey, animated by minimal interventions of red and the appearance of a luminous, vaporous form. The dialogue among the vastness of the compact ground, barely perceptible gestural traces, and the fragile contrast of rare chromatic accents lends the image gravity, mystery, and restrained expressivity poised between order and displacement.
