The Column of Defined Infinity

The work reinterprets the motif of ascent through a succession of black, imperfectly geometricised forms arranged along a white vertical trajectory. The rhythm is irregular, and the modules appear to detach, gravitate, and negotiate their positions in space. The intense pink ground contrasts with the severity of the black elements, while the central white matter introduces the impression of an energy that traverses and unites the fragments. The isolated circle in the lower register accentuates the rupture in the sequence and transforms ideal infinity into a finite, vulnerable, and measurable course.
