The Kiss

The work explores proximity through a continuous drawing reduced to the essence of an encounter between two faces. The white line simultaneously describes two profiles converging in a kiss without fully delimiting the bodies, allowing them to merge within the same trajectory. The ground, constructed from layers of blue and turquoise, creates a dense and fluid space in which the intimate gesture appears suspended and detached from any narrative context. The economy of pictorial means heightens the tension between separation and fusion, while the continuity of the line transforms the two presences into a single form.
