The Storyteller

The work explores the relationship among face, memory, and narrative through a composition in which the female figure appears fragmented, almost absorbed into the pictorial matter. The contour of the face emerges among expansive gestures of blue, violet, and grey, while the multiplied eyes dispersed around the portrait suggest perspectives, memories, and histories coexisting. The features do not construct a stable identity but a presence in continual transformation, traversed by its own images and voices. The dynamics of the brushwork and the superimposition of signs give the work rhythm and tension, transforming storytelling into a visual process: not the recounting of an event, but the fragmentary accumulation of experience.Technique: acrylic on canvas boardSize: 40 x 50 cmYear: 2026
