Together, Apart

The work explores the relationship among proximity, distance, and the fragility of human connection through an essentialised composition in which two vertical presences assert themselves within an expansive, nearly empty space dominated by a warm and uniform chromatic register. The dialogue between the grey silhouette, constructed from dense, repeated traces, and the broad, fluid form in intense pink lends the image tension, tenderness, and restrained expressivity poised between adjacency and separation, between intimacy and the impossibility of fusion.
